Activities in Saint Jean de Monts
Between two stores, you can try out the Saint Jean de Monts Ferris wheel, from the top of its 40-metre high tower you can overlook the entire embankment and the main beach, the horizon of the Atlantic Ocean or the town of Saint Jean de Monts with a breathtaking view.
While you’re there, don’t forget to take a stroll along the Saint Jean de Monts pier. At the end of the 400-meter-long pier, you’ll be able to admire the spectacle of the sea and a lovely view of the town and its buildings. Children’s play areas are also available on the large beach opposite the sea.
In St Jean de Monts, you can also set off in search of the various hidden markers on the orienteering course for an activity with family and friends. You can also take your children for a spin on the merry-go-round or the bumper car.
If you love heights, why not try the adventure of Explora parc, an accrobranche park located in Saint-Jean-de-Monts, with its “piste aux écureuils” for children who can use monkey bridges and zip lines to keep themselves entertained.
Looking for unique panoramic views? Why not follow the vigie trail (just over three km)? It’s a walk through the heart of the forest with a breathtaking view of the Atlantic coast.
